Food Blog???

So lately I've been way into healthy recipes thanks to my Aunt Laurel.
She issued a challenge to me that if I can help her lose 12 lbs by the end of summer then she will give me 500$ and every lb after that I get and extra 25$.  Pinterest has been AWESOME! And has helped me come up with ideas of meals not only to make for her, but things I can enjoy too.
My eating situation is complicated due to health reasons.  I pretty much eat the candida diet, for those of you who don't know what that is its essentially gluten free and dairy free, oh and I avoid sugar too:)  I know a lot of you are thinking, " WHAT DO YOU EAT!?"
Actually I eat a lot of things>>> Its just actual food:)  I have also just learned about this program called whole 30 where you only eat whole foods for 30 days. Im sure I'll end up doing it at some point in my life, just for fun. Look it up, its a really cool idea.
SOOO I think im going to start posting daily (hopefully:) food ideas of random things I make.  Because who doesn't love some new food ideas???????

XOXO -Paige

Graduation here we come!!

Today's the day!! 5.30.14

I have mixed emotions about graduating. I am so excited to meet new people, have a fresh start, and see where my life goes.
But graduating means you have to grow up. It means I'm not a kid anymore. I always know my family will be there for me but now it will be different. I am expected to know more, be more responsible, and move out!!!! T-1 week!
At some moments I'm super excited for this ^^ and at others I'm very sad and scared.

I've come to the conclusion that...
High schol is hard.

With such a condensed population of teenagers your bound to face some social struggles. If I could go back I would just be myself and not worry what others thought of me.
I wasted too much time trying to feel accepted and get approval from the wrong crowd. Although your social  status may seem like the most important thing in the world now, you'll look back and probably only remember a couple of friends.

Preston doesn't know how to kiss:)^^^
And I'm proud of him for that!

My favorite part of Highschool was reaching out to others!
If everyone did one act of kindness to a different person everyday the world would be such a better place And the senior class of 2014 would have an unbreakable friendship!!
Senior year was the BEST because I felt confident with myself! This allowed me to reach out to others and meet so many fantastic people!

Motto for the 2013-2014 school year:
You know, sometimes all you need is 20 seconds of insane courage. Just literally 20 seconds of embarrassing bravery. And I promise you, something great will come of it.

A Barbie Battle

WOW its been a while!  We only have one more week of school left and two until we graduate!!!
It is so CRAZY!  I don't feel that old and I honestly have mixed emotions about graduating!
                - I'm ready to move onto bigger and better things like... College BYU-I and my MISSION!
                - But I will desperately miss my FAMILY!

Last weekend I applied to 15 jobs in Utah and Ive applied to a few here in Boise.
Its crazy that I don't really have a plan of what im doing yet.  I guess I'll go where the wind blows:)

I got some more sr pics from my gorgeous friend Quince and so did Preston!!

We are also doing a poetry unit in English and I wanted to share one of my poems with you:) ( WARNING: It doesn't rhyme :)

A Barbie Battle

This world we live
in is a Barbie battle.
A battle between
the ideal and real.  A place
where ten year olds are afraid
of becoming fat and eleven million
people suffer from eating
disorders.  With every advertisement
it is as if society is forcing a gun
to your head demanding
you to change.  A physical,
mental and emotional struggle between life
and death.
But we are so much more than that.
We are blessed
with a body that we can use
for good.  We can
help others, go for a jog, stand up
for what we believe is right, have
a barbeque, and laugh,
all because we have a body.
You are capable of so much
more than looking hot.

Go follow @beauty_redefined on Instagram.  Those days when you just cant help but compare yourself to others, their feed can bring you back to that eternal perspective and the truth-
My favorite scripture of ALL TIME is 1 Sam 16:7
"But the Lord said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance , but the Lord looketh on the heart."
